This is a composite of last night's moon and a vapour trail shot I took while away. Both with the 650D.

Moon - F/10, 1/125th, ISO100, Tamron 150-600 @600mm (eff 960mm, the reason for using the 650D over the 5D)

Vapour Trails - F/10, 1/320th, ISO100, 50mm f/1.8

Basic edits on each done in LR, composite and remaining work in PS.

Thank Danie, I will definitely revisit. It feels good to be back at it again. The trip was inspiring and eye opening.

Kevin, you're pushing new boundaries in your photography, and I like your thinking! The vapor trail is just a bit too sharp, and specially where it lifts off the moon, makes it seem like two separate images. I would love to see a revisit of your edit.
