Just for fun, but this was an intricate one... here goes..
50 shots taken in sequence as I played a warm-up piece, all with the following settings:
M F/8.0, ISO-100, 16mm, 1.0s. Speedlite on 1/8, bounced off the wall behind the camera, triggered on second curtain. Obviously a tripod and remote trigger was used too.
Cropped and did basic edits on the 50 shots using the sync option in LR. Exported all the shots to Photomatix and ran them through a Fusion HDR process.
Exported the resulting tif back into LR for a black and white conversion and my idea of a fine art edit.
All in all, quite a few hours of work, as I repeated the 50 shot sequence quite a few times! (I am sure a Photoshop boffin would have been able to get a similar effect in half the time, but I bet I had more fun!)
The idea is a self portrait of sorts, combining my two passions. I don't really like having my picture taken, hence the "Ghost" idea. :)
To my surprise, this came out exactly how I pictured it in my head!
Perhaps not to everybody's taste, but all feedback welcome.
