CANON70D,1/400sec@f/2.8,ISO100,100mm(EF100mm f/2.8 Macro) Aperture Priority,Evaluative Metering Mode. Edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro. These two pictures were taken during a class led by Danie at Arts on Main and I am sure many of you will recognize him. I decided to go with the B&W as it has more impact.

The angle of the body and head to the pipe and smoke just creates an amazing frame and character, great photo

Haha, I see you have uploaded already this week ;-)
I love this Luke! I like this one slightly more than the other one because the smoke covering his eye in the other one is a bit distracting, and frankly I am slightly obsessed with square crops at the moment ;-) Your edit completes a perfect street shot. Love love love!

Perfectly framed; a well thought-out composition, which shows just how important it is to pay attention to all the details, even when shooting a candid, or informal portrait. The high contrast edit works by amplifying the smoke. Moody! Feature Luke.
